They also require clean seawater or water containing an equivalent amount of salts. Deep ocean water(DOW) can meet the cleanness standards to control bacteria and other microorganisms linked with food poisoning, and can regulate heavy metals and synthesized chemicals required for drinking water. The constantly low temperatures of DOW at 10oC or lower can also meet the reuirements of handling water for fish and shellfish and is more cost effective than city tap water and clean seawater treated with ultraviolet light As such, DOW is superior for use as handling water for fish and
