It has been also tried to use enzymes and bioactive compounds produced by microbes isolated from deep ocean water. However\uff0c it is essentially important for practical use of microbial products to ensure the supply and reduce the cost by improving productivity and purification methods. We report here our study toward the utilization of violacein\uff0c a bioactive pigment produced by bacteria isolated from deep ocean
